OK, we're all home now from the annual Great Race, and good hearted blokes we are, we decided not to embarrass Harley Davidson in their anniversary year.
Congratulations to Tony on his runner up honours in the Indian Team, especially well earned while running one sided on a pair of sieves pretending to be fuel tanks.
Read his reportage of the event from our last newsletter - The Great Race
In other totally unexpected news, Steven Menteith (that's right, your humble webmaster) brings home the Most Original trophy from the Queensland All Indian Rally at Easter.
I put it down to a much smaller than expected turn out, and the fact that in the 10 years since I first put in an appearance at this rally all other bikes have been through several makeovers, while mine is, ahem, still awaiting its first.
A total suprise to get a top shelf gong instead of those backhanded compliment awards we usually get
(Indian with the Most Harley Parts, Least Restored Bike).
